Prices and costs

How much does a video ad cost in Qatar? (2026 prices)

Gulf Ad StudioUpdated

A video ad in Qatar costs from 17 QAR when AI makes it (one Gulf Ad Studio video campaign on Budget; 29 QAR on High-end), about 123 to 1,000 QAR on Qatar Living photographer and videographer listings where a price is given, and AED 8,000 to 25,000 (about 7,920 to 24,750 QAR) for a 30-second traditional agency video in Dubai. In the sample of 14 Doha video studios that Webtonic reviewed, none published a rate card, so a Qatar agency price is a quote you ask for, not a list price.

Video ad prices in Qatar, side by side

In October 2026 the published prices run from about 55 QAR for a freelance gig to about 24,750 QAR at the top of the Dubai agency benchmark, and most of the spread comes from whether anyone has to film something. Every figure is a vendor's published price or a rounded conversion of one, so treat it as a benchmark, not a quote. Dollars are converted at the fixed peg of 1 USD = 3.64 QAR and dirhams at 1 AED = 0.99 QAR; the Dubai rows are a UAE benchmark, not Qatar prices.

What drives the price of a video ad

Five things move the price of a video ad more than anything else: whether someone has to film, who does the voice, how the Arabic is produced, how many formats you need, and how many rounds of changes are included.

  • Filming. A shoot means crew time, equipment, locations and sometimes actors. One production company's published rate sheet lists camera operators at USD 105 to 390 an hour (it shows only a $ sign and does not state its method). A video built from your existing photos and website needs none of that.
  • Voiceover. A human voice artist is normally a separate line item. Gulf Ad Studio uses an AI commercial voice, checked by speech recognition for completeness. It is not a native Qatari voice, so it suits offers and announcements better than a brand film that depends on a local accent.
  • Arabic adaptation. The Dubai benchmark prices Arabic adaptation of a video on its own: AED 3,000 to 8,000 with AI and AED 15,000 to 40,000 traditionally (about 2,970 to 7,920 QAR and 14,850 to 39,600 QAR). Its publisher, Impulse Digital, is a Dubai agency that sells AI video itself, and it gives no unit for these prices (per video, per language or per project). At Gulf Ad Studio, copy in English, Arabic or both is priced once per campaign.
  • Formats. Reels, Stories and Snaps are vertical (9:16), feed posts often use 1:1 and YouTube uses 16:9. Each extra format costs 12 QAR on Budget and 20 QAR on High-end here; with any vendor, ask whether extra formats are included.
  • Revisions. Quotes differ on how many edit rounds they include. At Gulf Ad Studio a new creative version or a changed brief is quoted again before anything runs, while technical retries and downloads are free.

What you get for 17 to 29 QAR, and what you do not

One Gulf Ad Studio video campaign costs 17 QAR on Budget and 29 QAR on High-end. You give it your website link or product photos and a one-line goal, see an itemised quote, and are charged only when every requested output passes the automatic checks; a failed run returns the held amount to your balance. Generation is typically a few minutes (in our October 2026 tests about 2.5 minutes for a Budget campaign and about 5 to 7 minutes for High-end; extra formats take longer), and downloads are free.

What the price includes

  • A narrated vertical MP4 (1080 × 1920) of 15 to 30 seconds, plus a 1080 × 1080 PNG graphic if you add it.
  • English, Arabic (Modern Standard or Gulf wording) or bilingual captions, hashtags and a first comment.
  • Free downloads of every file, including a ZIP ready to post or to send on WhatsApp.

What it does not include

  • Filming. It works from your website and photos, so it cannot capture your showroom, staff or customers.
  • A native human voice. The narration is an AI voice.
  • Posting for you. You download and post; automatic posting is set up on request.
  • Ad spend, media buying or community management.
  • Any promise of sales, leads or rankings.

When a freelancer or agency is the better choice

Pay for a filmed shoot or an agency when the video depends on something an AI tool cannot see: real people, a real place, or a strategy you do not yet have.

  • You want your team, founder or customers on camera, or a walk-through of a showroom, restaurant or villa.
  • You need a brand film, a television or cinema spot, or an event recap shot on the day.
  • The video must carry a native Qatari voice, a named presenter or a specific dialect performance.
  • You want one team to own strategy, production, media buying and reporting. See AI generator vs agency vs freelancer.

Many businesses use both: a filmed brand video once, then AI-made campaigns for weekly offers, launches and seasonal promotions. Filming has one advantage the cheaper routes cannot copy: the footage is yours to cut into many edits.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a 30-second video ad cost in Qatar?

It depends on the route. An AI-made vertical video from Gulf Ad Studio is 17 QAR on Budget or 29 QAR on High-end. A Khamsat gig lists a 30-second video at USD 25 (about 91 QAR), and Qatar Living photographer and videographer listings show about 123 to 1,000 QAR where a price is given. A Dubai agency benchmark for a 30-second social video is AED 8,000 to 25,000 (about 7,920 to 24,750 QAR). Doha studios quote after a brief.

Do Doha video production studios publish their prices?

Rarely. In Webtonic's 2026 sample of 14 Doha video production companies, none published a rate card, so expect a quote after a brief. Ask each studio for an itemised quote with the same scope: shoot days, crew, editing rounds, voiceover, Arabic adaptation and formats.

Is an AI-made video good enough for Instagram and Snapchat?

For product, offer and announcement ads built from your own photos and website, often yes, as the car-search sample on the examples page shows. For a brand film, people on camera or a Qatari-voiced spot, hire a crew. DataReportal counts Instagram and Snapchat ad audiences of 1.70 million and 1.24 million in Qatar (63.7% and 42.0% of adults); both run full-screen vertical placements, so start with 9:16.

How much does an Arabic version of a video ad cost?

In the Dubai benchmark, Arabic adaptation is priced separately at AED 3,000 to 8,000 with AI or AED 15,000 to 40,000 traditionally, and the source gives no unit for those figures. At Gulf Ad Studio the copy is priced once per campaign whether you choose English, Arabic or both. The narration is an AI voice, so read the Arabic yourself before posting.

Does Gulf Ad Studio include ad spend or posting?

No. You pay platforms directly for ad spend, and nothing is published automatically: you download the files and post them, or ask for automatic posting to be set up. There is no promise of sales, leads or rankings.

How long does it take to get a video?

For an AI-made campaign, typically a few minutes (in our October 2026 tests about 2.5 minutes for a Budget campaign and about 5 to 7 minutes for High-end; extra formats take longer). A Khamsat listing quotes one to two days, and a filmed shoot depends on booking and editing time, so ask for dates in writing.
